Stay connected with yourself


It is crucial to stay connected with yourself!

And - it is YOUR responsibility to listen to the signs your body is giving you and to realize the level of stress you are experiencing!

How?

The author mentioned to create something he calls "inner Lookout". By setting up this internal radar, you intentionally created a routine to keep you healthy. In my book "ENJOY - Strengths Based Stress and Burnout Prevention" I talk about the red lights we are passing on our way to Burnout! A routine helps you to raise the awareness and helps you to create a system that protects you and your body!

Once you created a routine - as I am describing the example of Rick Rescorla and how his routine he implemented for the employees of Morgan Stanley saved the lives of more than 2000 people during 9/11 - even in times of stress - the routine will be there for you to lean in and protect your health.

Maybe you start with the thought - what are you doing right now to monitor your health conditions?
